Fashion and the Ford Mustang

Fashion is a hobby and passionate pursuit for many, a business enterprise for many more. London Fashion Week recently drew thousands to the city for fashion shows. Here, the spring collection of top designers were unveiled.

Designers find inspiration in many places: certain materials, colors, textures, even time periods provide influence. Stella, a French fashion designer, draws inspiration from the 1950s.

Surfers Healing and Ford Go Further

Chances are you know someone who struggles with autism. Even if you don’t know that person directly, it’s likely that a friend’s child or brother or other family member is affected by the disorder. In fact, 3.5 million Americans live with autism.

For parents, it can be especially challenging. Because autism is a disorder that makes it difficult for individuals to form attachments and to communicate, parents often have to explain why their child is acting differently to playmates and other parents.

When your local Department of Transportation paves the roads, they create specifically measured grooves in the pavement, which also increases friction. Learn more about the road design process when you check out Ford's blog post below.

What do Ford, “Christmas Vacation” and Road Flares Have in Common?

Remember that funny scene from the movie, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” where the family takes a trip to the woods to collect their Christmas tree? Not only is the trip itself an adventure but, when it comes time to chop down the tree that’s nearly the size of a redwood, they realize no one brought a saw or axe.

We thought of this scene recently when Ford shared this funny look at the do’s and don’ts of transporting one’s Christmas tree.

Happy Trails from Jones Ford Buckeye

“Happy traaaaailllls to you …” Remember that catchy refrain? The song by the same title, was the theme song for the popular radio program in the 1940s and 1950s. Sung by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Rogers, the hit song was a favorite of many.

We thought of that song recently when we learned about the new Winnebago Fuse, a C Class motorhome built on a Ford Transit chassis. Imagine all the fun adventures one could have in one of these baby’s?!
